August 7-9, 2026
In 2026, Ohio will host the standard back-to-school sales tax holiday of three days, starting 12:00 a.m. Friday, August 7th until 11:59 p.m. Sunday, August 9th. The exemption will apply to all items of clothing priced at $75 or less, school supplies priced at $20 or less, and school instructional materials priced at $20 or less.

Forestlawn Early Learning Center's Open House will be on Thursday, August 20, 2026 from 4:00-6:00pm. At this time, you may visit the school, locate your child's classroom, meet your child's teacher and bring in supplies. Hope to see you there!

Forestlawn Early Learning Center's First Day of School is as follows:
Preschool:
Preschool students start on Monday, August 24th.
Kindergarten:
Kindergarten students have a staggered start:
- Half of the class will come on Monday, August 24th and
- The other half comes on Tuesday, August 25th
They don't come on both days. Families will receive teacher assignment emails on August 14th with what day your child will attend. ALL Kindergarten students come on Wednesday, August 26th.
