Principal's Welcome

Welcome to Forestlawn Early Learning Center for the 2026-2027 school year!

It is with great joy and enthusiasm that I welcome you to our school community. I am honored to serve as principal of Forestlawn and excited to partner with you as we nurture, support, and inspire our youngest learners during these important early years. As I begin my second year as principal of Forestlawn Early Learning Center and my fourth year in school administration, I am grateful for the relationships built within this special community and look forward to another year of growth and success together.

As I embark on my 20th year in education, I continue to be driven by a deep passion for early childhood learning and development. Prior to becoming an administrator, I spent 16 years teaching first and second grades, experiences that continue to shape my leadership philosophy and commitment to student-centered learning. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Bowling Green State University, as well as administrative credentials through the American College of Education.

I am committed to fostering a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child feels loved, valued, and empowered to learn. Preschool and kindergarten are extraordinary years filled with growth, discovery, and wonder. It is a privilege to help lay the foundation for each child's academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success.

At Forestlawn, we believe that strong partnerships between home and school are essential to student success. I value open communication and encourage families to reach out whenever questions, concerns, or celebrations arise. Together, we can create meaningful learning experiences and ensure that every child thrives.
