Principal's Welcome

It is with great joy and enthusiasm that I welcome you to Forestlawn Early Learning Center for the 25-26 school year. I am honored to serve as your principal and excited to begin this journey together as we build a strong foundation for our youngest learners.

As I enter my 19th year in education, I bring with me a deep passion for early childhood learning and development. I began my career teaching first and second grades for 16 years before stepping into school leadership, and those formative years continue to shape my approach as an administrator. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Bowling Green State University and administration credential through the American College of Education.

I reside in Grafton with my husband and our three wonderful children—Benjamin (16), Ava (12), and Emma (10). Our children are very active and keep us busy with baseball, softball, volleyball, basketball, dance, and cheer. When I’m not supporting my three favorite athletes, I enjoy walking, exercising, reading, and cooking. 

Professionally, I am deeply committed to growing the whole child and creating a safe, nurturing, and loving environment for all students and their families. Preschool and kindergarten are incredibly special years, and I am thrilled to be part of laying the groundwork for each child’s future academic, social, and emotional success.
